Tyrell IO
Tyrell IO is the next generation of Tyrell software. It combines over 15 years of experience in producing messaging tools for the public transport industry with a new, powerful, flexible software architecture.
For those of you who know and use Tyrell2 already, don't worry. We've retained all the core concepts of the current product, but have built in more powerful and flexible ways of capturing and sending information.
An early version of Tyrell IO is currently being used to forward London Underground information directly to existing Tyrell systems in Operational Controls. This free service was launched in March 2008. The same information (which is provided by Transport for London) has also been integrated within JourneyCheck.
As of February 2010, we are working with a number of rail industry groups including the The Tyrell User Group (TUG) with regard to design sign-off of the latest version.
