JourneyCheck Rainbow Boards
Rainbow Boards are the latest edition to the suite of Nexus Alpha disruption tools available to train operators that include JourneyCheck and JourneyCheck Alerts.
The JourneyCheck Rainbow Board solution is currently provided to the following train operating companies:
For Southeasterm, each of the main routes are highlighted and automatically assigned a status of either "Good Service", "Minor Disruption" or "Major Disruption". In extreme cases where a line may be closed, the status "No Service" will appear.
This status level is generated automatically using route disruption and train service disruption entered by Southeastern Railways Network Control Room.
The Greater Anglia Rainbow Board highlights twelve different routes running out of Liverpool Street.
The Rainbow Board solution takes account of the whole rail network, so if there is disruption at a London Terminus station say, it calculates that multiple routes will be affected.
